CANADIAN out-cross genetics have topped the Red Angus show at the Royal Canberra Show this morning, with a rising 11-month-old bull calf snagging the supreme title.

Black Diamond 3B Quack It Q501 exhibited by Christie Fuller of Black Diamond Angus, Cowra, was the junior and grand champion bull that went on to be supreme exhibit among the seven head on show.

Sired by Red Double B 6M Autograph 2D and out of the Red Blairs Bonita 3B female, he was described as a bull with a lot of potential.

Judge Tim Reid of JTR Cattle, Jenross, Rosyln, said despite being a young bull he shows the muscle, strength and stretch throughout that he looks for.

"He is very sirey and has a lot of muscle and stretch through the front end," Mr Reid said. "He gets out there and moves, and shows a lot of potential to be a great sire."

Quack It Q501 got around Ms Fuller's other exhibit, Black Diamond Miss Hollywood Q500 who was the junior and grand champion female.

The 12-month-old heifer was by new Canadian sire Red Lazy MC Hollywood 127C and out of the Black Diamond 35X Mistress M501 female that has had a number of show successes throughout her career.
