But it's the esteem in which staff and customers hold WA-based Himac Attachments as a company and the assorted products they manufacture, which counts most of all for the Tindal family who own the business.

Himac is one of the leading manufacturers / suppliers of machinery attachments in Australia and its range is recommended and on-sold by Caterpillar, Bobcat, Toyota Huski, Kubota, John Deere and other major machinery brands.

"We are a family business specialising in attachments since 2002," spokesman Darren Tindal said.

"Our focus is on building long term relationships with our customers who rely on our attachments, whether they're used for farming or a wide range of earthmoving contracting applications."

"Producing high quality attachments is a must at Himac. We realise that if you experience downtime due to cheap quality it's a costly inconvenience. At Himac we only sell top quality products."

"In fact over 85 percent of the attachments we sell are Australian-made using high grade steel.

"Compared to the industry average our attachments last over two times as long, ultimately saving you stress and loss of income."

Himac's Operations manager Dale Cullen said its product range included attachments for Skid Steers, Tractor Loaders, Telehandlers and Wheel Loaders and other machinery.

Dean Norton, Albany WA, swears by the Himac Stump Bucket, claiming it to be "unique and awesome" and able to remove some of the biggest stumps he's seen without damage to the attachment.

Matt Hobday, Peats Ridge NSW, was as happy with the delivery of his Skid Steer Bucket as he is its usefulness. "It arrived in perfect condition and I'm very happy with the build quality," he said.

"When I'm in the market for more attachments I will definitely be going to Himac first."

A spokesman for the Kojonup WA-based Sunnydale Contracting said a Rake Bucket Grapple it acquired from Himac Attachments was a highly efficient piece of equipment.

TOP STUFF: The Himac Attachments products have various uses.

"It provides a strong grappling for loads that are normally hard to. I have now implemented two Rake Grapples into my business, giving excellent reliable results with every use.," the spokesman said.

Mr Tindal said citations from customers and staff were valued and integral to Himac's operation.

"At Himac we strive to build better communities. Our entire team is like family and we greatly value them and we want to treat you with the same respect," Mr Tindal said.

"If it wasn't for our valuable staff in every department the business would not be in the position it is in today. Everyone at Himac takes ownership of their role and works as if the company is their own.

"We value supporting those in our backyard and we always support Australians by creating jobs for the community.

"There is no point talking the talk unless we can back it up.

"We are confident in our product quality. Each attachment comes with a 24 month warranty, which is twice the industry standard and we have a satisfaction guarantee.

"As well we dispatch 45 attachments daily which ensure competitive freight rates Australia-wide."

GROUND BREAKER: Attachments for earthmoving equipment are available.

The WA premier Mark McGowan has praised Himac Attachments for its manufacturing capability, adding: "This shows what people can do when they put their minds to it and use their skills and ingenuity and ability to create some of the best products found anywhere in the world."
